A UK CMAS Competitive Freediving membership grants each athlete:
Ability to compete for UK in CMAS freediving competitions.
Official record keeping of competition dive results.
Voting in the committee.
Membership fees go towards covering each athlete's SAA license (https://saa.org.uk/) for the year. The SAA is the UK issuing body for CMAS. Once the athlete’s licence fee has been paid for the year, it’s unfortunately not possible to claim the fee back.
The annual membership fee provides valid recognition and entry to compete for the United Kingdom in all CMAS freediving competitions around the world for one year. In the unfortunate case of a missed competition, there are multiple opportunities throughout the year to use the membership and compete.
